RE: What happened to him? nt

He was involved in an incident in the Tred vs Wombwell Main football match this evening - went in for a 50/50 with this other lad who has a double leg fracture - the Main player was also taken away in an Ambulance with some sort of knee injury (his knee ballooned something chronic!)

    Neither player to blame really...

    Yes Caz it is.

Lee was the less seriously injured of the two.

He had a lump the size of my bicep just below and to the inside of his knee.

It was difficult assessing the extent of his injury because of the swelling.

As garsbfc said a 50/50 ball . Both players coming in at an angle so there was a twisting element to it.

His knee was swollen? He should have played on then

It certainly couldn't have gt any worse if he had

I thought that the general rule of thumb was that a knee injury couldn't be made worse by playing football on it immediatly after the injury occurs

Tred were winning 1-0 at the time with about half an hour to go - Wombwell never looked like scoring.....
