For me the decision should have been taken at 11 anyone that was just going to the game could have left it until then to set off and still made it comfortably made the match any coaches could have done the same. I get some set off much earlier be it because of public transport or for social reasons and for them as late as possible is a benefit if it goes ahead. The chance that it doesn't go ahead and everyone just about is there is too high a price to pay in my opinion.

What benefit is there for people who have bought train tickets and match tickets for the game not to go ahead? You don't get a refund on your train ticket if an event is postponed. It's been paid for, that money has gone. The match will be moved to a midweek evening if it's postpned. Many people can't get to an away game in midweek as they're working, particularly one so far away as Stevenage, so they will miss the game. They may get a refund, but they will still miss a game they wanted to go to.

Surely, the best outcome for everyone is to play the game on the advertised date and time and to give every opportunity for that to happen. Isn't it?

Opinions eh, I disagree but I accept it's an opinion and not fact and not everyone will agree.

Whoops :D Makes you wonder how much effort they put in to protecting the pitch when they have a handful of players out for different things.

Just this, they didn't make any effort they never wanted it on tactical call off, we will have less fans they get 3 players back for the rearranged game.

Glad someone said it. I feel like I'm going mad. People complaining about it when they have no realistic solution other than "should have been called off yesterday" which is a bit silly if there was a chance it was going to be playable.

You've gone from "I wonder if" to "they definitely sabotaged the game" in about half an hour.

    Impressive.

Terrible from the referee of course the Players safety Must come first but a total disregard for Barnsley supporters
