To be fair we have never been a family club and never will be

Makes me chuckle when people still say we are

We have a terrible banning order rate and always have done

Racism. Fans spitting on others. Kicking the **** out of seats and stadiums. Homophobia. Threatening behaviour. Fighting. Amongst others

I'm not saying the police are perfect at all and I think there is a lot of work to do by the likes of the FSF and their Watching football is not a crime campaign.
Lots of examples of football fans wrongly being treated like criminals BUT we do have a problem and that can't be disputed IMHO.

Look at it this way, there's 92 other clubs, all fans of which will be treated in the same way, which indicates that our lot give the police more reason to act. Or are you really saying we are being victimised?

No two ways about it the police are making mountains out of mole hills and the club just seem to be taking what they say as granted

I'm saying that the football task force in charge of BFC games are saying things without convictions to back things up, to get more money out of the club,
We can all make claims of disorder but where is the evidence? We here about all this disorder but where not seeing banning orders and convictions increase, if we are the worst behaved in the league why doesn't it reflect that in the actual conviction table

My frustration, as it has been all along, is that either:

    a) those in attendance aren't asking any real, searching, challenging questions or
    b) they are and then not communicating it back to people

It's a good thing the club are doing here, reaching out to who they see as key reps for supporters, however, 95% of Barnsley fans don't belong to a group, 70% don't travel away with the supporters clubs invited and thus what actually gets said ends up being a closed shop, drip feed of information.

Obviously we can't refuse to sell away tickets or we'd not be dumb enough to allow away fans to come at a loss to ourselves.

Us being refered to as that always makes me chuckle too. It's not just the scum players we've signed over recent seasons who attack women or roast them in filmed orgys. It's what I see at away matches with inciting from the stands, smoke canisters and the like. From what I can remember posted on here (could be wrong) we sill allowed a convicted paedophile keep his family area ST seat because if we moved him it would have been a breach of his human rights.

I'm particularly concerned about a). Did no-one see fit to ask any questions about the disastrous set of financials we've just released? But we had a conversation about Tina bloody Tyke?
