    nah i prefer quality players myself (hated gywn thomas type plodding players)...... c hignett for one..... buttercup has shown glimpses but is far from the real deal ...yet.

    .....i also apologise for mentioning buttercup in the same vein as hignett...as quite clearly buttercup is nowhere near as good.......

    my 5 year old kid who is a new season ticket holder at oakwell this year loves butterfield, has a shirt with butterfield on the back, a poster on the wall etc..
    ok at that age they may not be totally clued up about all things football but am pretty sure if i have to tell my kid in january that butterfield no longer plays 4 us he will be totally gutted, but as long as the "adults" on here get there own way and he goes i suppose everything will be fine

    I agree that Steele is player of the season so far, closely followed by Perkins but I can't agree with you on Butterfield as I think he is better and more important to us than you're giving him credit for.
