    Not that I care either way (other than I hate the constant media love-in for Liverpool), even the most fanatical Liverpool fan would struggle to convince me that they had any level of control or even a plan for 30 minutes. They were absolutely dominated. Not game management. They were floundering.

    But you know what he meant. Newcastle were dominant. It might all be pointless without scoring but if you're talking about performance, its true. Just like commentary said.

    Football isn't Ice Skating. Artistic impression doesn't matter. They came out running around like headless chickens for half hour like it had just gone to extra time, tired and then conceded.

    They didn't look great against Bournemouth either - a side who lost their whole defence and goalkeeper this summer! But individual quality won it for them. If they can still score 4 whilst being not very good, Liverpool fans are in for a treat when they do start performing well!
