Knew it! At least it was a good goal not a dodgy pen

So so unlucky Newcastle. What an effort to be proud of

Think Arsenal have to be clear favourites to win the league on this early evidence - though them theirs selves were fortunate against Man Utd. Only issue with that is, I do actually believe they have mentality issues and they struggle with it do arsenal

I wouldn't write Liverpool off necessarily, they've been rocked by Jota's death understandably. It's a long season and hopefully it will be a few teams battling it out again.

Undeserved, it reminded me of the Wednesday playoff final.

I think “clear favourites” might be a bit much but they’ll be up there. They should be given how much they’ve spent this summer.

I agree about their mentality though. They’ll have the sticky patch and we will have to see if they can come through it.

Think that's the least deserved winner in the history of football. Liverpool were battered for 45 mins by 10 men ffs. How does that happen - still managed to spawn a win at the end of it all as well.

The Saudi state stripes can get in the bin though

The lack of humility from all the Liverpool fans I know reminds me of when they won at Oakwell in the Willard game.
That’s why I don’t like them. Up there with Wednesday for being Spozzy and media hype.
At least we beat them at their place.
None of the Liverpool fans I know are from Liverpool either. My timeline infiltrated by people from Leicester/ Leeds/ Huddersfield celebrating Liverpool’s jammy win.
Fans of other clubs are a bit more humble.

I know plenty that are humble workmates, friends and my own kids - just your down to earth football fans. Think the fact they are most successful club in England gives them a bit more kudos than other clubs. There are idiots though every club as them - personally I've never been keen on Newcastle fans after that 1981/2 encounter.

    Really enjoyed that game.

    I felt for Gordon.

I know a few on here reckon it was a clear red but I don’t think it was. For me it’s one of them borderline ones between yellow & red.

The whole point of VAR checks was supposed to be clear & obvious errors which that certainly wasn’t.

If it’s given red originally you say fair enough but it’s incredibly harsh for a yellow to be overturned for a red in my opinion.
