I've asked you to back up what you've said. You can't it seems. Most folk on here can stand up for themselves if I have belittled anyone.
When the delivery driver knocks on your door, he's just letting you know your curry's here. He's not stalking you.
Simply that you decided to target me earlier..can't be arsed to dig through posts, but you can see the theme continuing earlier on this thread...I simply reply...
1. Perkins - for being the most consistent player over the season. 2. Dagnall - for not letting the initial negativity get to him. 3. Wiseman - see Dagnall. 4. Steele - for earning us the points with some superb displays. 5. Golbourne - for his ability to turn defence into attack.
I apologise for targeting you then and think ill leave it at that as it seems I've been had. I think much worse has been aimed by others but hey ho.
1 Perkins - Our most consistent player, under both Hill and Flitcroft. 2 Steele - Charlton home game apart, I thought he was excellent. Again. 3 Foster - Unlike both Cranie and Wiseman, Foster was putting in decent performances, when selected, before Hill got the boot. Our most consistent defender. 4 Chris O'Grady - As Stahlrost has said, beast centre forward we've had since Shipperley. 5 Cranie and Wiseman. Can't separate 'em. Instantly forgettable under Hill, fantastic under Flitcroft. Special mention to Harewood and Dagnall for the Leeds game. As good a striking partnership as I've ever seen play for Barnsley that day. Unplayable. And then there's Etuhu. Moving him in to central midfield was probably the biggest factor in us getting out of the mess we were in. But he was so bad under Keith Hill, and he missed a number of games under Flitcroft due to injury, so he just can't make my top 5.
Mostly agree with that. Going on performances under Hill alone, you can't look beyond Perkins who had an excellent first half of the season. However, under Flitcroft, you'd be hard pressed to pick 11, never mind 5. Perkins, Dawson, Wiseman, Cranie, O'Grady, Dagnall, Scotland, Mellis, Kennedy, Steele, Etuhu, Harewood and O'Brien all had excellent second halves of the season. First half of the season: 1. Perkins 2. Dawson 3. Golbourne 4. Mellis 5. Cranie Second half: 1. O'Grady 2. Etuhu 3. Wiseman 4. Cranie 5. Perkins/Mellis/Steele
1. Perkins 2. Cranie 3. Golbourne 4. Stones 5. Dawson The bottom 2 plus Steele who I had in 6th could've been in any order really, hard to seperate them. Hard to include O'Grady due to the lack of games & as brilliant as Etuhu was in 2013 I can't forget some of the truly awful displays on the wing (even if it was Hill's fault for playing him there)
