    Pretty sure all the Players bars have closed down now. The format definitely favoured places with a large student population.

    The Innvestment groups most recent openings have all been the Katie o’Brien’s format. There are a number of other KOBIT businesses registered, each with a different letter at the end. I assume each one refers to separate Katie O’Brien’s premises.

    KOBIT = Katie O Brien’s Irish Taverns.

    You're right there is, which is brilliant - though not sure what the hold up with the third one (Reading Room on Eldon Street?) Is.

    I'm talking about a place dedicated to craft beer though, like Maison du biere was - a proper tap wall with all different types. Nailmaker are great and they have a decent craft offering at their bars but for me, Barnsley's badly missing somewhere craft beer bores like me can go and sample a variety of different styles.

    They were just waiting until after Xmas and New year was out of the way before starting to kit it out. Didn't want to clash and have the work going on with the panto at the civic etc.
