Train users

    It wasn't in my original post, it was in my response to Revvie P's post.

    One of our members & her boyfriend tried to do the run with stops at all the pubs the other weekend & were told that they couldn't do it by the ticket collector.

    All good stuff, though.....

    I was reading an article in one of the local magazines this week - it was similar thing but with buses rather than trains.

    I travelled back from Manchester the other day and there looks to be a terrific pub on the station at Stalybridge (similar to the "Head Of Steam").

    get one urself. dont cost nowt and give you free regional travel til 2008 then free national travel from then.
