I dunno, like.

I didn't gan oot like, stayed in the hotel pub because it was £1.50 a pint, like. It was champion, like.

I was working at Heaton Manor...a school.

 

our WMC annual seaside trip...

went to Whitley Bay once in every 3 years...along with Redcar and South Shields.

I'm starting to sound as deprived as Victorian-era kids.

Still, could be worse. Folk in Barnsley have caravans in Cleethorpes. Not all of 'em tho, I think.

 

I quite liked Whitley Bay

Our FREE hotel room...two double beds, an en-suite, sea view room. Free breakfast too, couldn't complain with that, never mind the cheap beer.

I wouldn't mind going back again...I'm just not too keen on Newcastle itself!

 

Went to Whtley Bay once, on a stag do.....

Can I just say it was the one and only time I will ever go there!!

 

We went to Whiteley Bay for the afternoon during a Stag Trip to Newcastle.

Went to see Wee Philly in some bar or other.

The coastline around South Shields is really nice much to my surprise when I went there recently.

It is still there but not for long, the bulldozers are about to strike. It has been closed for a while but breaking news today is that the proposed leisure complex which was to replace it has been turned down by the council.
