Also, our contract is with Everton, so in order for us to get any more, Everton must have a similar clause in their contract with Man City and we would be due a small proportion of that. I would not hold your breath.
SSN breaking news just said we've had a second bid for Dykes of 1.2 million plus add ons rejected and QPR and Stoke are also interested in him.
Not a prayer of us signing dykes. We’d been interested previously and that is just being used to drive numbers up. I’d be amazed if we’ve bid 1.2m
I wonder if it is the same agent who tried the same when we were supposedly after Jason Kerr as a defender from St. Johnstone. They should learn the lesson from that, as Kerr stayed at St. Johnstone and looks to be going nowhere fast both in terms of clubs and career. The agent tried to turn that into a bidding war, but i bet both agent and player are regretting not taking the offer when it was there. Dykes will probably be the same. If they play hard-ball, what are the chances that Dykes stays at Livingston in a team which is already bottom of their league and his personal and club careers both stall irretrievably. I hope that we do get a deal over the line, but not at the expense of silly games.
Jimmy Saville, Jeffrey Epstein and Josef Fritzl to Sheffield Wednesday as Chansiri wants to reunite with the local community and get the club back to what Sheffield is about.
Livingston apparently now turned down a third offer for Dykes from another Championship club despite the player apparently being keen to move to England. What on earth are Livingston doing, do they not realise that they have to accept an offer if the player expresses a desire to leave!
They don’t have to accept an offer,he’s under contract there,I do think he will finish up putting a transfer request in to force a deal.
Yes, I realise that. It was a tongue in cheek comment re some posts in recent months suggesting that we had no choice but to accept the offers for Pinnock and Moore last summer.
