Yeah i'm sure Southampton would loan him out if he wanted to go somewhere because he's not getting a sniff around the first team. But if he was to leave them he'd have to take a pay cut so he's not going to force their hand by handing in a transfer request. It's a real shame because he could be a great player for someone but he just doesn't seem to have the hunger for it. Especially not for us when you look at how hard our players try.
McGeehan looks a decent prospect. 100 games for Luton at 21. Sounds very similar to Conor was at Plymouth. Few threads from their forum; http://members.boardhost.com/lutonoutlaws/msg/1482885941.html http://members.boardhost.com/lutonoutlaws/msg/1482798487.html Seems to divide their fans a bit. Seems like scoring goals isn't an important attribute for some of their fans either Reckon if he wants to graft, learn of Conor, he could be a great great signing. Although doesn't sound like his passing is a strong attribute like CH's was.
http://www.thecfss.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=59126&st=0 Gboly Ariyibi divides (although mostly negative) opinions from Chesterfield too. They name check his match against us, which sounds like the exception rather than the rule. Imagine a large part of whether we sign McGeehan or Ariyibi (other than asking price) will be their attitude. Do they want to be like Winnall, Roberts and Hourihane, or like George Moncur.
