Not quite. He was unhappy at Trump using a military aircraft to return the deportees. They actually send 3-4 flights every week from the USA to Colombia containing deportees - they just don't normally use military aircraft.

1k arrested yesterday. He's not happy with how few have been deported. He's wanting 1,200 to 1,500 a day at least. That would still be peanuts and take years to deport all those he wants shut of.

1200 x 365 x 4 = 1.75million, give or take. There are an estimated 11 million already there, and more on their way every day (or more accurately, more not leaving every day at they often arrive on valid visas and don't leave).

It would take 20+ years to deport those currently there. Although they can only deport if they can prove how they are and where to deport them to. And they are arresting people a fair few people - including members of the fecking Navajo tribe - who are valid citizens.

I'm seriously surprised Trump hasn't been blamed for us losing our last 2 games on this thread. I mean he's been blamed for Russians invasion of Ukraine and the Israel and Palestine troubles.

 

During his first term Trump moved the us embassy in Israel to Jerusalem, a move that stirred up trouble in the area as Jerusalem is disputed land.
He stopped any funding for the United Nations agency that provides aid to Palestinian refugees while simultaneously increasing funding for the Israeli military.
And Israel have named a district after him due to him signing a declaration officially recognising a disputed area as belonging to Israel, a move that went against the stance of the United Nations.

He isn't solely responsible for the Israel/Palestine problems but his actions have seriously contributed to it.

 

Agree, America has surpassed a critical mass of the uneducated and cannot be trusted to save itself through sensible decision making.

Sadly it's the same here, how often on this board do you see right wing opinions articulated with terrible grammar. If you took football stadiums as a sample, far less than 50% would have the reading age of a 12 year old.
