Trump's house raided by FBI

What are they supposed to do though? asking him nicely didn't work, they have tried that for years.
Its not like raiding someone who is innocent until proven guilty, they KNOW he's guilty ( of all sorts) its just proving it and nailing him down that's been the problem

 

Where do you draw the line between investigating a high crime and a witch hunt? I think the FBI are just following due process. Trouble is there's so much incriminating evidence it'll take an age.
I'm interested to know if (when) he's found guilty for any or all of these crimes, will he go to jail and will he still be entitles to secret service protection.

 

I'm more concerned about Liz Truss at the moment.

I hope they have a solid case against Trump. Would love to see him spend his last days in jail, (American spelling). I can't see it though. Depressing both sides of the Atlantic.

I don't know if you saw any footage from Gordon Brown doing the media rounds yesterday. We seem to have a void where adults used to be in our political institutions. I wasn't especially a fan of Brown at the time, but in comparison to what we have across most of our benches now, we have an absolute dearth of integrity, knowledge and desire to genuinely help the people of our nation.

 

Agreed. Neither Sunak or Truss even have a plan to get out of the crisis. They are just pandering to the 300,000 Tory members to get the gig & will continue to make anyone earning less than 30k a year's life as hard as possible, while company profits hit new record levels. **** the Tories.
