For all his faults cavare is still the best right back we have.

With Wilks I see a Mowatt.. awful when first here. Now look, some just don't hit the ground running..
I wouldn't bin Wilks... Be a loan for me.

Wilks & McGeehan are the problem because they’ve recently joined / extended their contracts & no one at this level is likely to sign them as they’ve not looked up to it & there’s probably only Sunderland, Ipswich & maybe Portsmouth who could pay their wages from the leagues below.

That’s a pretty small group of clubs. The other alternatives to be paying 50% upwards of their wage whilst they’re on loan which unless they’re a bad influence at the club they’re probably as well sitting in the reserves in case we have an injury crisis.

His head is well insulated. He'll be fine.
That said, anywhere further up the pitch than the halfway line is generally too far north for McGeehan. ;):D

Only if you watch his highlights. Over a full 90, he gets progressively weaker. I'd go as far as to say his second half performances are bloody awful.

He's cost us goals this season no doubt about it but so have other players. He seems to switch off and can appear lazy at times but when he's on it he's one of the best players in the team. Maybe a good option to have off the bench?

Mcgeehan's misplaced passes and wayward finishing have actually cost us points this season. It won't have helped his confidence either.

If they are all fit and have been for a while yet not been selected in the matchday squad for many weeks I would class them as dead wood.

95% of the time he's easily the best right back we have, but 5% of the time he's possibly the worst right back I've seen in a reds shirt and that's a massive issue.

He looked like he couldn't give a **** away at Middlesbrough and was massively at fault for their goal.

Dont get the impression they're a very well off side so probably cant afford what we 'd want.

Looking at the Instagram Accounts of both Pinnillos and Thiam over the last week, it appears like both are back home anyway. Probably trying to secure deals elsewhere.

If they were anywhere near staying, they would have played yesterday at Crewe.

    Best wishes to them both.
