Tudgay signs

    I didn't want another loanee. I would have liked to have seen Jason up top with Pedersen, with Dagnall providing competition, until COG returns (3 weeks I believe).

    But it's done now. And I was impressed with Tudgay last season. He's another grafter, not one of those loan signings where you never know how hard they're going to try (Naylor, Burton, GOC etc). He's also capable of scoring goals.

    The worry is his lack of matches/match fitness. Not played for seven months apparently.

    And, he was one of Keith's last signings, this time last year, and we know how that ended...

    I honestly think a poor performance on Saturday and anything less than a win over Birmingham will see Flitcroft heading for the exit. With daunting away trips to Brighton and Burnley coming up, Saturday is a must, must win.

    I cant see them allowing him to ship out half a dozen players this week and bring Tudgay in if they had any thoughts on getting rid after the weekend. Afraid we are stuck with him now till January at least regardless of results.
