Not as good as Steele but more than good enough for this league.

As a suitable reply, I give you, as a comparison, Port Vale's keeper!.

Worst keeper I've ever seen that one. But to say one person is good because another is **** is a bit weird.

Nile ranger is a nice bloke. as a suitable reply I give you Oscar pistorius.

I would have thought it was clear that the comparison was used to suggest that if Port Vale's keeper is ****, then clearly Turnbull is not ****. But if you want to get into different degrees of ****, then for the record, I don't think Turnbull is **** at all. ;)

Didn't seem all that poor at MK when he saved us from what could have been an embarrassing scoreline.

Steele was like a big pansie coming for set pieces corners, free kicks etc, distribution was crap although he was a decent shot stopper. Turnbull much better all round keeper.

I think he's done really well and is clearly a top keeper. However, his back problem worries me as he looks like he's in pain for most of the match and could be out injured for a considerable time if things go wrong. Davies is decent but not in the same class...yet.

I really rate Danny Wilson, Conor Hourihane, Martin Cranie & Ross Turnbull. I don't recognise the individuals you describe.:)
Never mind. It'd be a dull forum if we were all the same.

No, but you do regularly and it's getting boring.

I think Ross is probably as good as you could get at this level, and good enough at Championship level. I also think Davies is decent, which can only be a good thing.

Steele was a very very good shop stopper and over the years we gave him plenty of opportunity to show these skills off!

Turnbull is an average shot stopper, but much better at commanding his area and coming to get crosses. For the style of football we play against in this league I don't think we'd get much better than Turnbull.

If you're playing Liverpool away in the cup and let them have 30 shots then you won't get much better than Steele.

Been a 'keeper myself I think he commands his area well I like him and this he's a very good 'keeper but I feel he palms shots into dangerous areas where he could maybe push it away rather than back out into his 6 yard box.
