tbf I think the point has been made clearly enough. I don't think anyone is saying it's ok for you to be ripped off. people are just pointing out that you've actually been offered a refund. you're also questioning the ethics of someone, when what you're doing is arguably less ethical
Also worth clarifying if the fella who sold it is actually hosting the service, or just a reseller. If it’s the latter, it’s likely he has no control whatsoever over the quality or stability of the service.
but you have been offered a refund - you said so in your second post are you saying he is now keeping your money and not providing you the illegal service you bought?
He’s selling illegal internet tv streaming services. Yes he’s a fraudster and thief: the stuff isn’t his to sell. But he’s offered you your money back. He’s stolen nothing from you. So you’re just salty because his illegal solution has stopped working for you. It still presumably works for plenty of other folk as he seems to have plenty of satisfied customers. You could do something radical and legally pay for all the things you had from him. Sky, Bt sport, Netflix, Disney plus, Amazon prime. I pay the lot and still don’t get the iFollow games or box office boxing etc. Costs me a fortune. But I choose to do that for me and my family and if at any point something doesn’t work I can complain to Sky (or whoever else I directly subscribe from) about it. I hold no judgement against people who use tv dongles or similar - each to their own. But don’t be accusing the seller of fraud and theft when 1) you are guilty of both of those things yourself and 2) you’ve been offered your money back.
If its a preloaded stick or box you bought, then you're mad, if u can use a remote control then u can load your own stick following the many YouTube instructions, jeez even I can do it. If its just a downloaded service, then always only pay for a month, u can get them for between £5-£10, never pay 6 or even 12 months up front cos the service will prob go down before then and you'll lose your money. Or u may buy from a very rare seller with morals, such as your man o the cloth and he'll do the right thing only to still get whinged at by an ungrateful buyer. This is why I stopped selling anything on ebay.
I bought some Brewdog off a fella off here last year. Was OK til the 24th tin when I sh4t on the neighbours lawn, pi55ed on his lounge window and got done for indecent exposure. It's no wonder he rarely posts on here anymore - knowing the damage he caused me and my family. Need to watch out for these Admin types.
