We really enjoyed 'Designated Survivor' but hoped for closure after 1 series like Jessica Jones . Not a spoiler but DS ends on an absolute cliff-hanger (don't know how old you are but it's just like the Saturday Cinema clubs for kid's weekly serials used to end on one every week). Should have expected it would not be just be a single series though. Fine acting from Mr Sutherland and supporting cast again!! Now got to wait for series 2 to come out.

In Italy one episode was released each Sunday (although the last two were shown on boxing day), so we had to wait a full week between episodes

One that nobody has mentioned yet, and it's also my favourite - The Last Ship. Great casting, particularly the ships captain, plays an amazing role. I dolove Walking Dead, but I actually prefer this.

Better Call Saul (Breaking Bad prequel) has been mentioned and although pretty slow, I'm still a big fan due to the nods towards Breaking Bad.

    Bates Motel

    Zoo

11.22.63 and Containment (both only 1 season - but both really good!)

    Wayward Pines

American Horror Story (not all seasons have been great, but you can watch any as they are self contained series and not linked to each other)

Very good. I've not seen much of Vikings, but from what I can tell I'd say its a cross between Vikings and Peaky Blinders but set in the Caribbean.

Season three recently finished. Free with amazon prime.

I was proper annoyed how it ended on that cliffhanger. I enjoyed it also. I'm also enjoying the Shooter tv series.

Luther if you're into crime programmes and not bothered about it being quite graphic.

    Black Mirror.

Each episode is based on a different theme of a dystopian future. Very easy watching and some incredibly disturbing realities which aren't too far off where we're heading as a species.

Just watched the first two episodes of "Quarry"
Starts a bit slow but I've been told it gets better.

Don't know where you'd find it but Having watched most of the top series I still rate Battlestar Galactica ( the re-imagined series) as the best one of them all. You don't have to be a sci fi lover to be into it. It's fantastic.
Also Making a Murderer on Netflix is a must.

Black Mirror and Westworld have been the two recent ones I've really enjoyed.

West wing. First few episodes of first series is a bit iffy whilst they are setting the scene but after that I loved it.

Also the Newsroom with Jeff Daniels. Same writer.
