    Yep, I'd keep him at the right salary. I reckon someone will come in with a wage offer that will top ours though. It all depends on circumstances I guess.

    Just to reiterate, I'm not having a go at Cole. He's doing his job for us. It's undeniable though that his responses sometimes when we score are extremely muted. We'd come from behind twice and then gone ahead in a big game and when that goal went in he didn't celebrate and started walking over to the corner. Contrast with the enthusiasm of Pines who's been here two minutes. As has been said, it takes all sorts.

    I think people can read too much into things. Same with the kane interview when fans were spitting feathers about that saying he wanted out. Maybe he did/does but along as he keeps performing for us on the pitch I couldn't care. Same with cole who's had alot of stick in his time here. But has had 2 good seasons where he's been top goalscorer and the gaffers 1st choice striker.

    Last season I saw people on here saying Cole doesn't congratulate Norwood when he scores. Making out asif they don't get on when infact they were good mates and Cole gave him a lift to training.
