    To be honest the hesitation seen in John stones play tells me he's not confident in his keeper... couple of times pope hasn't left him enough room for the obvious back pass

    I love that John is comfortable on the ball and can play out. But there, it’s either a long kick out or back to the goalie. What are you trying to prove or achieve in that moment?

    McGuire makes same mistake and not half as much would be made of it .
    Stones twice defender McGuire is imo .

    Stones has had a fantastic season to date but there is absolutely no excuse for that mistake. It's so stupid. I feel for him because the press are going to be all over him and he's well and truly back in the spotlight. Others make mistakes and I'm no fan of Maguire but with Stones unfortunately they seem to be monumental **** ups.
