Looks like 4-4-1-1 with Hourihane in free role behind Wilkinson and Pearson with Rothwell the holding midfielders. I can only imagine the players left out are injuries, or just not 100% fit. Interesting that they are on the bench, though, which suggests that LJ just thinks they are not fit enough for the full 90, but could come on and do a job if we need it. It's a whole different game to the Everton one, so the players brought in might just do the business in this kind of scrap. Good to have a squad strong enough to make these changes. Will be even better if there is no need to bring on the likes of Scowen and Winnall. All players coming in have something to prove and the opportunity to do so. If it works, it will be great for us.

Wilkinson has his critics but in total has played about 90 min of league one football and scored. Which is as many as winnall. His biggest problem is he is about 6ft and 5ft when balls in air. Although wasn't it his header that stones cleared off line on Wednesday and he brought a few saves out of there keeper on Wednesday. Admittedly he hasn't set the league alight and we all like a scape goat. But hope he proves us wrong and gets a few today. Shows how much we need a striker though when winnall isn't fit we don't look too good up top.
