RE: was once working away in 1992 and the all important 'Risk assessment' </p> We have a trainee on an apprenticeship. I have to provde to her training organisation a copy of </p> a) general risk assessment</p> b) fire risk assessment</p> and as she's under 18</p> c) a young person risk assessment</p> My induction talk runs along the lines of 'keeps your eyes open, don't put your hands under the hot tap, don't leave cables, boxes etc where people can trip up, don't lift heavy objects and finally if you didn't know all these things already you're to thick to work here so **** off home'</p> </p> </p>
RE: was once working away in 1992 Tell her to cross the road.</p> Then she's done a risk assessement.</p>
No to the first. The old adage is that if you are not a socialist when you are 20 there is something wrong with your heart and not a capitalist when you are 50 there is something wrong with your head. Reckon it should be heart in both cases!! The one argument that really winds young people up is when an oldie plays the experience card cos it's difficult to argue against. I'll play it now I'm getting arthritis - but only when winding up is called for!
My age is roughly half way between the two you mention and i vote Liberal Democrat. Does that mean there is something wrong with my head my heart or both?
