Last minute winner for Cardiff too which puts Hull back in the relegation places and makes the gap to safety even bigger! The next few games aren’t easy either. Pass me a drink!
I've seen Helik play very well, but he's not doing right now. He's playing almost as bad as the other two. Not quite, but he's part of a unit that is simply atrocious.
That suggests that if the system isn't right, it can make even very good players look shaky. I think that's especially true with defenders. Often the unit is more important than the individuals. Think of how much worse Angus MacDonald looked without Marc Roberts next to him.
The system is, without doubt, the worst we've ever had. Val used it because we defended from the front. We don't anymore, so it just means we have more than half the team on the wrong side of the ball every time the opposition get it. It's suicide. And stupid. And every one of our coaches who are using it should be fired, not just Schopp, because they're incompetent.
What to say about that? I can’t even be arsed to list the issues in any depth, it’s just sufficient to say the defensive system with the 3 centre halves and wing backs is an absolute and total shambles, the midfield 2 weren’t even in the game today and up front we struggled to even get shots off. Back to front an absolute disaster. They were 2nd bottom, had not scored away since the opening day and they could and should have beat us by 4 at least. On a final note, I don’t think I’ve ever seen players in as much space on a football pitch as theres were on multiple occasions today.
We couldn't pass, we couldn't defend, we took the wrong option nine times out of ten when going forward. The players fell to the ground at the slightest touch, stood with hands on hips or finger pointing. Everyone's first touch was poor except Brad Collins, and Fulham will put 20 past us. Thank you and goodnight!
Yes, you’re only as good as your worse player and Moon will always make that back line poor I’m afraid.
He is carrying two kids....not ready for this standard. However Helik has dropped in standard himself this season, im not going to deny that.
It must be me, because I cannot recall a single incident that would justify the criticism that Is being spewed out on here. Possibly he was involved in their first goal somehow, although I can't say one way or the other. For their second, the opposite side of our defence appeared to have gone awol.
1st goal he nearly scored it himself. Later then they had two shots before he was even back in the box, they scored a second following a poor unchallenged header he put back into the middle. When they then hit the post he was AWOL again, tried to get back and made a missed tackle. So yeah he was heavily “involved” in their two goals and their other best 2 chances, not great.
