Let’s be right (and I have no issue with him and would play him next game) but upfront we had vic who cost basically nowt and they had solanki who was signed for £19 million. And without looking this must be similar across the pitch. again, not intending to be defeatist but surely we should accept that we might struggle. But that we overall played okay and the manager set us up as well as could be expected?
Of course I get it that James is better than Kane but my point is more to do with the impact on Kane in the long run (as he is actually our player) if after playing well he gets dropped for James.

Let's move on. They had more quality all over the pitch and we made a lot of stupid errors and were not clinical in putting away the chances that we made. Woodrow, Kane, Walton, Andersen all at fault, and they will know it. The SKY commentators were not scathing about Barnsley. We probably need a shake up before the next game, but we need to learn from the mistakes and move on - a chance to put things right.
