Never liked Benn. Can still remember him being a **** whilst McLellan was spark out in serious trouble. Benn was too busy giving it the big un with Don ******* King, despite Gary Newbon telling him Gerald was seriously hurt. A proper bloke would have gone straight over and calmed the **** down.

He's turned to religion since, and I know he's a good friend of our own Bruce Dyer now. Think he himself regrets how he was.

    Great fighter, mind.

I liked Hatton, but always felt he wasn't quite good enough, and it so proved. Think his weight issue was 'the' issue.

Joe Calzaghe is my boxing hero. Saw practically all of his big fights held over here, live, in the flesh. I saw lots of Naz fights too, who I also loved. But I don't hold him in such high regard these days. I don't buy the "my hands couldn't cope" theory to his retirement. Barrera bossed him. I think Naz knew he wasn't good enough.

Loved Iron Mike. I was so into boxing as a kid, and throughout my teens and early twenties. Lucky in a way, that I used to get free tickets through a family friend to alsorts of events. But I've not been to a fight since Calzaghe/Manfredo.

I really want to go to a Fury event. If this Chisora fight happens, I might see about making one.

You see , I cannot understand how he can be ultimately beaten fair and square, as you said, when he has not been. It is not the end of his career and Froch won, whether you like the decision or not ,that is what happened , look in the record books.
Groves whinged and whined about Froch having to give him a rematch, when he himself has not given a rematch to Degale when that fight was just as wrongly judged, maybe more so. I see Groves as an utter 2 faced **** . Who while he fought a great fight, he ultimately, could not reach the end of the fight, he was about 10-15 seconds away from being knocked out, in my opinion and the opinion of many experts. I wish the ref had let it go on, but if Groves had got hurt the ref would have been pilloried about that too.
So while I am looking forward to the rematch, I totally disagree with your assessment of what already has gone on and I think that differing opinions are
    great things to have.
