    Cup games, under 21s, and friendlies he keeps scoring. I'd like to see him on the bench tomorrow night.

    Sounds like Rose is bursting with confidence after the faith Wilson's shown in him with the new contract. He deserves a chance now, has to be coming off the bench on a regular basis

    He was the stand out player today and even had the captain's arm band on. Not sure he did much captaining mind you. He seems to be a bit bigger than last time I saw him play but it is impossible to tell if he would be strong enough at Championship level as a regular starter. Suppose the only way to find out is to play him, unless we have got some more imported talent coming in before the end of the week.
    Oates is a big, strong lad and very mobile. All in all, the team looked promising. Even with ten men they were still too good for Sheff Wed.
