RE: Alternative stratgey From my understanding. The only assetts the football club have are it's players. Are we still "hiring" Oakwell?
Why on earth ... When we were in administration did we not do like Bradford did with Carbone, cancel the leaches contracts and come out the other end?
We are being treated like mushrooms kept in the dark
fed ****.
none of it adds up particularly in light of statements made by many at the club gs/pc/pr et al since we emerged from admin.
Why if these figures are correct have they not been published before - which they have not.

Who is it putting in application for planning on the car park then? The council submitting a proposal to the council? How does that work?
OCA Oakwell Community Assets. The company that owns the land. Nowt to do with the football club. The football club has been totally assett stripped.
RE: We are being treated like mushrooms As far as I can understand it, we knew that we would lose about £5m as we came out of Doyle ownership over the next three seasons. These were PR's predictions in his business plan (yes, he DID have one)I do not really know what has made these losses happen, but PC agreed to underwrite them.
ok so none of this is new and was in the business plan which extended to the end of this season with promotion anticipated?
Flinders sale not in the plan?
This years additional 650k tv money not in the plan?
This years gate money increase - owt between 1.2 & 2m?
OK we have bought togwell and mcindoe
Wage bill is likely a little higher than predicted this year but not too much.
I think the club is trying to exceed the business plan objectives by attempting to keep costs as forecasted for this year though in a higher league with greater income which would explain the missed players - likely we offered comparatively low wages.
I can see the logic and the pitfalls . Cant say I agree with the excution as to me its almost as risky as PR. There is an inbetween - maybe 10% of what Cardiff are attempting.

They offered Carbone a settlement figure, they didn't just cancel his contract. It was more 'accept a million quid or so as full settlement of your contract or get nowt as the club will go bust'. In fact Richmond had the other players phone him up asking him to accept a pay-off.
