It happens every day in all walks of life. People are often told that they are not welcome in shops or supermarkets without ever being convicted of theft. I've known people be told 'we don't like the way you shop' so they kick them out and don't let them back in. What they really mean is 'we reckon you're a thief but we have no evidence to prosecute but you're banned anyway'. As tomfum said, I've never been hassled by police at football matches home or away but I have seen people (no idea what they've been wearing) who seem to have had a few too many to drink shouting and singing at the top of their voices while waving their arms around get stopped or watched quite closely on many occasions.
sleep walking into a police state methinks. What happened to the tenet of the English Justice system " Innocent until proven guilty" Here people have not even been charged with any offence!
Stereotyping is a dangerous game mate. I would not judge anyone on their choice of clothing/brands......certainly not in a hooliganism sense. Unfortunately, we all know that CP, Stone Island, etc etc, are synonymous with loons and you can always see this in the way that the Police govern football matches. It's wrong, but what can you do about it? Not a lot......
Football fans are to created in this way because for years knuckle draggers have associated themselves with football so they can carry out act out civil disturbances under the flag of loyalty to the cause. Been to rugby/ cricket matches and haven't been treated in such way because they don't look to kick each others heads in The Donny bunch looked like a throw back to the 80's in their Fila tops last week
Simple fact is, if the police are aware of you, and you are on their "risk list" then you have either been involved or associated with people who have been involved with something that they are looking to avoid repeating. They don't just pick random fans. It's like a pub refusing to serve you, they want your money but know it's not worth the hassle selling you a pint.
That's obviously the way football is going, you won't be allowed to enjoy yourself in a couple of years. The 1 thing I want to know is that why Barnsley with its small away support especially the handful who travel on trains are rounded up and taken to a police organised pub within minutes of arriving miles away from anywhere. But in the last few months Huddersfield, Boro and Donny fans have been allowed into town centre pubs. Are SYP that daft or are Barnsley fans just treated like ******
Depends how you behave Threatening to put somebodys windows through is s good example of a mindless muppet to me x
Threatening to remove someone's front door (while their 4 year old at the time) is also in the house is rather mindless too is it not?
Crikey...If this applies in Scotland, the next Auld Firm derby will be watched by the proverbial 3 men and a dog. and will someone please answer the question...what the **** is a CP coat?
A CP Company is 1 of those with goggles in the hood. Apparently if you wear 1 and sing at football matches you are a hooligan
ESL regard your comment about 'that threat' You and I know that is an untrue allegation that you have now posted on a public forum Unless you can provide evidence of your allegation I suggest you withdraw your remark Your choice -
I own 2 CP jackets (albeit one of which is just a watch viewer) and I ain't no hooligan? Far to many know it alls on here who actually know **** all. I've had my details took for drinking in a home fans boozer at Cardiff, the police said they had to take then simply because if I was to get my head kicked in later they had some idea of who was involved, loads of ******** but whatever anyways. All coppers are *******s.
So you are denying saying to me and other users of this forum that 'The police will arrive and remove your door' Im sure that the other people you made the threat to will gladly back me up when they see this post.
Of course I am - it is a bizarre allegation like I said your call , once YOU have posted evidence I will retract any comments ps - you are tredding on dangerous ground here -if no evidence is provided i will take this matter further with the appropriate authorities
