Why do you insist on being such a knob when it comes to hassell? We get that you don't like him. What you don't seem to have grasped is that everybody else doesn't have to agree with you - and will rightly get annoyed if you force the same opinion across time and time again. And not just about bobby. It seems like you have an opinion on everything, and have to be right. You have a lot to contribute to this forum. For one reason or another you seem to have more time on your hands to keep a track on the u21 side, opposition players, foreign football and other subjects. You sometimes show quite a bit of insight. You might not want any advice, but I fear this thread like hundreds of others before it will end in a hemsworth tyke bashing if you persist with the pig-headedness. Voice your opinion, argue your case, and let it go. Don't keep going back to the same thing over and over, that way I reckon more people might recognise you to have some points worth listening to, as opposed to assuming you're a class A pillock. Hope you're feeling better by the way.
Hemsworth what exactly is your issue with Bobby? Bobby is not just at this club for what he does on the pitch, but also for his impact in the dressing room, training ground and in the community. You do realise that 2 of the best right backs this club has seen in recent years, one of which you have an obession with, the other being Kieran Trippier. Credit a lot of there development to having Bobby Hassell as a mentor. I know for a fact that Trippier still contacts Bobby for advice now. I imagine John Stones does too.
I'm asking a question that's all. i've picked four of the players that are listed right backs for barnsley and done a question.
Bobby is the only one not to have represented England at youth level. Lots of players turn out for England at youth level and now they're nowhere to be seen. In fact, one of them is at Athersley Rec now. Surely we should judge a player on what they achieve in the football league or Premier League not on academy or youth appearances.
Well done Matt. you've got some football knowledge (Delap was with ROI though) The comment wasn't cynical. It was just a comment against someone who put him up against one of the best players around at the moment.
Ian Wright played for England but never represented England at any youth or U21 level. Does that make him a worse striker than Paul Rideout ? Your argument ahs no basis in logic or common sense. It's yet another spiteful dig at a player who has been the mainstay lately of our fight against relegation. You are a shameful excuse for a barnsley fan, and human being in general.
Try convincing yourself before trying us Phil. It was another dig, if I can give you some credit, at least you don't try to cover them in any way.
Phil this Bobby bashing for no reason has to stop. If there is a valid reason to it now and again i could understand but for crying out loud man give it a rest.
Hemsworth, so by your logic the likes of; Maceo Rigters Cherno Samba Michael Johnson Jon Harley Are going to go on to have much better careers or be considered much better footballers than your beloved Danny Rose, Andrai Jones, RNL and John Rooney?
Remember Ashley Scothern? Imagine Hemsworth back then. He'd be proclaiming him better than our top striker at that time, Bruce Dyer. #HemsworthLogic Btw, I think Carrick has failed to live up to his early potential, but has still gone on to have a decent career at a giant club. He's never impressed for England, despite many opportunities. I'd suggest he's overrated by many, and underrated by many. He's decent at what he does. No more, no less. He certainly won't be remembered in 10 years time when we are discussing great midfielders. Oh, and the key man at Old Trafford has blatantly been Van Persie.
Nonsense. Wayne Rooney has got more international caps than Van Persie, so that makes him the better player. Apparently.
