    Anything could happen after 1st July - however we will not be signing James, Kent or Armstrong on permanent deals and it seems highly unlikely to the point of 99.9% certainty that Scowen and Watkins will not sign new contracts. Might be able to sign Jones and Janko - but do we want to?!

    The thread is a valid one we have got ourselves in a position where we need to sign 6 first team starters and another 8-10 squad players. That's an absolutely massive ask.

    Poor planning even the most positive amongst us must see that.

    Be interesting to compare the situation at similar sized clubs. I would guess there would be comparisons at most, look at Huddersfield, all their better players appear to be loans.

    Why are you choosing to ignore the two contracted players who are out injured for the season, the contracted players who were substituted and the contracted players who stayed on the bench? There can only be one answer. You're trying to make it appear worse than it really is.

    Exactly. Take for example Marley Watkins. Clubs will think he's worth 1.5 million so won't think twice about offering him at least 10k a week on a three year contract. Us on the otherhand would be silly to go anywhere near that amount for him, as much as i'd like for him to sign back up.
