that doesn't sound too secure to me. I think i'll stick to the traditional queuing (until they get their act together)

    And on Setdi afternoon

they all fecked off to Meadowhall with never a thought for the people who were having to work to serve them.

It's time they realised they work in a retail environment. If they don't want to work retail hours they need to start looking for other jobs.

That's so typical of the attitude the management has instilled at Oakwell, and it just serves to demonstrate even more that, despite Rowing's weasel words, nothing has changed and nothing will change.

    I have to agree..

..and Rowings statement (I think Gordon Shepherd used it too)

"season tickets are an expensive way of borrowing money"

is indicative of the poor attitude that is endemic.

There must be clauses in card insurance about doing everything you can to protect yourself. And sending your card number on a piece of paper in the post would not fall into that category - it's the equivalent to leaving your car keys in the ignition. I'd be surprised if card insurance paid out in those circumstances.

I would never send my details in an email either. A secure internet site - yes. An email, easily intercepted and routinely monitored - no way.

Seves you right trying to buy cod. Stocks are significantly dwindling

RE: It's common sense to open the ticket office 9-5 saturday and sunday

I take it that she doesn't expect the supermarket to be open when she goes on a Saturday or Sunday? After all they've got families too!
It's not about making people work for 7 days a week, it's about having enough people to staff the ticket office over those times.

    No

There was probably plenty of cod left on the stall, enough for him to sell over the next few days, but he shut up anyway.

    Would make more sense

For the ticket office to open at 12pm and close about 7pm rather than 9-5 during the week.

RE: It's common sense to open the ticket office 9-5 saturday and sunday

Totally agree, but when did common sense ever apply to BFC?

I think the real problem is one of attitude - they just simply don't care, don't give a minute's thought to the needs of their customers. Everything they do is designed to make life easier for them.

In any other retail business they'd have gone bust years ago. Sadly, the fact they haven't probably says more about us than it does about them.

    We're just mugs.
