Im assuming you’re being deliberately obtuse, but just in case you’re not, and you’re genuinely just daft, the reports are about messaging directly from, in one case, Preston council to the young people who live in Preston, and in another case Hancock in a TV interview.

What on Earth you think that’s got to do wi RB parenting I don’t know, unless you’re advocating the parents of Preston schoolchildren don’t let them out to see posters or keep them off school when there’s talks by the director of public health.

Honestly, if you can’t accept that the current environment is abnormal and upsetting for some - not all - children then I really can’t help you, you’re either criminally daft or totally devoid of empathy, and either way I’m wasting both of our time.

I'm sure they are. But if the matter is beyond their understanding then I'm sure you as a parent will make it easier for them to understand and not to scare them.

Of the 3 of us I’m the only one who’s managed to successfully bring up children to become well functioning happy adults, but you 2 claim I’m the one lacking empathy and understanding.

You then go on a bizarre and entirely tangential diatribe about parenting.

There’s lockdown supporters in a nutshell. It’s like nailing jelly to a wall. Even when you provide them with utter clarity evidence that proves them comprehensively wrong, they still leave believing themselves to be right, and also have the moral high ground. There’s literally nothing you can do with folk like you.

 

Whats difficult to understand about ‘stay at home or you’ll kill granny’. How would you like me to contextualise the subtleties of that messaging?
