RE: You sure about that? nt

    Yes.

Our finances have been a talking point for ages and have been scrutinised (by Deloitte & Touche) at our Council with regards to the new stadium project.

The club was taken over in January and details of the deal were publicly available.

The shareholders at the club (yes, I am one) were asked at an EGM to approve extra shares to be bought by our new investors and therefore dilute their own holdings.

All aspects of the club were discussed and this was not one of them.

We're actually quite an attractive investment with all that's going on here at the moment, believe it or not.

You should never put money into football and expect to make a profit but it certainly looks promising on that front.

Everyone's eyes are on PR and that's exactly why he appears determined to rebuild his tarnished reputation.

Speak as you find and I've got to say he appears to be doing a great job down here. The club has been taken over with debts all but wiped out and works at the new stadium started at the end of last month. Both these significant developments have been creditted to PR.

Absolutely no time for Bates or Levi for that matter but I feel for their supporters who deserve better.

Bates appears as much to blame as anyone

With his stance on pricing he has alienated thousands of fans this season. Had they had the stadium full from day one they could have been a totally different club.

Some unknown 'benefactor' has taken them on. They haven't been wiped out as such.

It's not the pricing that has alienated the fans....it's the performances on the field. A few years back in the Prem Leeds fans were following their club length and breadth of the UK/Europe. They manged to find money when they were succesful. LUFC fans are not as loyal and passionate as the Media would have you believe and as they tried to make v Bolton when they got relegated (and that kid was crying his eye's out in the crowd).

What's the cheapest ticket to get into Leeds? - £27? Hardly, pocket busting in real terms.

    RE: Ken Bates

Co -Exist has no time for Bates and Levi but 'has sympathy for their supporters.'

Co - ExisT - See this response from a Leeds fan on a rival board who was challenged by a BFC fan as to why he called himself 'BarnsleyWhite' ie questioning why he supportd LUFC and not BFC.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
'Just so u no the truth madrednige ive supported leeds 4 41yrs since the age of 8 the reason im called barnsley white is bcos my 2nd wife who i married 18yrs ago came from barnsley i lived in leeds upto then i moved 2 barnsley wen we got married so if u don't mind u ****in inbred scum ******* il call myself wat ever i ****in want.'

Now it would be easy to generalise and say that is a one off LUFC fan. However, living and working in Leeds I guarantee you this sort of attitude represents a fair old percentage of their fans. SYMPATHY - Please refrain from using that word in connection with LUFC.

IRONY MOMENT - He calls Barnsley people 'in breds' yet has married a Barnsley lass...............
