Remove the filibuster, DC Statehood, PR Statehood.

Dems control the senate for a long time.

Hope they manage to get it done.

    Me too.

Guardian's live update (6.02 am) provides further basis for cautious optimism. Trump's scorched earth day still to play out, but the National Guard are standing by (and standing ready?)

This election is over. They have the seats. The votes left to be counted are over 95% mail-in or early (democrat favoured) and also they’re all mostly from heavily democrat counties.

My “hope they get it done” was about DC/PR statehood specifically

I would wager it's aged better since the original thread than the majority of us.

    Morning gents.

Just for maximum comedic effect can you all please remind me how Trump has absolutely no chance of being President for a second term. Thanks in advance.

Only one race called so far. I'll stand by 'cautious optimism' for now.

    Both called on Decision Desk.

They’re both blue. 100%. The big networks are just cowards. 75,000 mail in or early votes left and that’s it. There’s no way the dems don’t take it.

Just as an aside for a moment, that victory for the Rev Raphael Warnock is a very epochal moment for the South and America. Without getting too far ahead just yet, it offers a small beacon of hope for a great country.

It is though. It's just as over as the Special is. Just because AP called one and not the other doesn't make a difference. Have a look on NY Times below, you can see what is outstanding to come in. All early/mail-in and all from blue counties. I'd go far as to say I think Ossoff will be out of recount range (0.5%) at the end of it. But that's not guaranteed. Him winning is guaranteed.
