I don’t think it’s entertaining. But the prolonging of it falls on to both the troll, as you describe, and those who continuously reply and goad a response suggesting it is entertainment to them. As for stifling discussion at an interesting time in World politics - only if it’s a discussion agreeing with what you’re saying and think. Dare to suggest anything else and the pitchforks are out and the pile on starts.
Interesting interview with James Comey former Director of FBI this morning , sacked by Trump in 2017 , I think he has Trump spot on https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/news...be-prosecuted-says-ex-fbi-boss-comey-12188779
I just find trolling weird and there has been more than one proponent of it on here. It seems to go hand in hand with a need to demonstrate an illusion mental superiority. It's one of the first weapons they reach for and it mirrors the conspiracy theorist mindset too which genuinely makes it hard to distinguish which they are. I think anyone who feels the need to keep telling others how smart they are is psychologically on a slippery slope. See Donald Trump as an example.

It’s National Popcorn Day today folks. I hope you are all well stocked up! Make sure you save some for tomorrow.
Theres many a folk who would surely love that but you'd merely make a martyr of him . Like it or not to some he's the greatest president they ve ever had which shows you how low a bar US presidents have been operating over the last few decades . Locking him up will merely escalate the situation as apposed to de escalate . There's a lot of scared people in the US at the minute .....
Spade work? There’s not much work in writing a couple of sentences Marc, and it’s certainly not trolling either. I really can’t see any point in ‘trolling’ for the sake of it. My input to this thread has always had a very specific purpose which will become abundantly clear when you watch the Inauguration tomorrow. Speaking of the Inauguration, it’s looking like we might have to call the bet an honourable draw tomorrow because I don’t see either Biden or Trump being President tomorrow evening. That’s not to say that I don’t expect Trump to serve a second term... it’s just that I don’t expect that he will be confirmed tomorrow and I know you (or certain others on here) are likely to throw a hissy fit if I suggest extending the bet’s end date. Anyway... not long to wait now and I, for one, am looking forward to tomorrow with great interest. Hopefully we will be able to chew the fat on here as the events unfold. See y’all tomorrow!
Prediction Trump pardons loads of lowlifes, Trump leaves via Marine one gobbing off that he won etc etc. Biden get sworn in, followed by the planned televised gig later that evening. Washington is a fortress no one will get within a mile of the main buildings. Elsewhere there will be a few idiots, but most won't show due to seeing how others are being dealt with under the law. It'll be a damp squib, but unfortunately the QAnonsense will continue thanks to Fox and other media outlets.
Won’t be any chewing. Biden will be sworn in and that will be the end of it. No shape shifting reptilians, no assassination attempts, no Supreme Court u-turns. I just hope afterwards, you’ll share whatever mad events you were expecting to happen.
Plenty of chatter on dark web and nutty sites stating something is coming. Most of which are middle aged men dressed in camo, who play too much call of duty, getting aroused acting the tough guy. If they do all come out it'll be a roll call of all those outed on the stolen valour website.
Part of me would love to see the QAnon army send in their best men for this mission. Can you imagine seeing 12, 45 year old men with pot bellies eating chicken wings with hunting rifles trying to sneak in. It's hardly going to be Zero Dark Thirty more like Meal Team 6.
Your bet was that Trump would be president after the 20th. Even you admit that's not going to happen. Biden will be sworn in, but even if he isn't you lose the bet.
Go on thedonald. It's all on there. (You may also get put onto a list, so maybe use a VPN...) That's where casual tyke is pulling his 'info' (used in the loosest possible way) from. There's too much to repeat, but basically they think Trump has a big plan that he's about to put into place, involving removing all congress. Many of them genuinely believe Trump was there with them when they stormed the Capitol and they were storming the Capitol to install their new government in Trump's name. I wish I was joking.
