To be fair Trump is way, way out in a category of his own amongst western leaders when it comes to lying. And xenophobia - he dedicated a day last week as National Remembrance day for Americans Killed by Illegal Immigrants, which is disgusting.
Always been a big fan of Jonathan Pie. I saw him in Newtown, Sydney earlier this year, a few days before the world went bonkers. I watched this clip the day of release and died a bit inside. I knew he could be right. But I'd never realised he was a fan of the BBS. His epic dry loving monologue clearly gives that away.
I cannot respect anybody that defends Trump. He is indefensible. He is a stain on the human race and I hope he and his supporters are devastated in the days to come. I can, however, understand defending those who choose to vote for him. They're not all racists and terrible people.
I bet these last 5 years will go down in history in the USA and Britain as the most disastrous ever known, both countries governments just don't give a t0ss about the lives and well being of there citizens especially with Covid or if you are poor, disabled or of ethnic background.
well done Joe Biden. Trump trying to steal election, he knows there are too many democrat votes in the postal vote for him to win, total disgrace, count all the votes and let the proper result be known
Just been on the BBC that Biden has just taken the lead in Wisconsin for the first time with a big amount of the votes counted(96%). Hopefully the trend continues with the early votes swinging things Blue's way...
I just have a bad feeling that it will be close but Biden will just fail I also dont know why we bother with opinion polls or who works out the margin of error because the last few important votes they havent been even remotely close
i was reading before polling day that the US's exit polls and other polls are not used the same way as we do over here. They are used more to get an idea of the demographics of those who are voting, rather than just trying to work out the results.
Hold Nevada, take Wisconsin (as is looking likely) then he only needs one of Georgia, North Carolina, Michigan or Pennsylvania. I think Trump will hold NC, and probably GA by a whisker. I'm not sure what the state of play is in Michigan right now, but it could easily come down to the postal votes in Pennsylvania. Let's just hope Biden takes either GA or Michigan to avoid the nightmare scenario.
Ive run out of hope at least for this year - maybe just maybe 2021 may see things turn for the better but 2020 is the year that keeps on giving
I have to say, the counting is a bit of a farce. States are just clocking off and going home. Is it Barnsley Council running it? Surely they can get people on shifts until they're all done?
this election, along with the elections in 2024, 2028, 2032, 2036, 2040.. IS THE MOST IMPORTANT ELECTION EVER
Where are you getting your info, Biden behind in 5 states narrowly ahead in two. Mine might be lagging (is why I'm asking). I'm looking for hope.
