I see all the Trump bashing on here and feel like I should probably back him up to add a bit of balance to the board. Plus it amuses me watching so many people losing their **** at the prospect of a bloke in another country being re-elected. Is there going to be the same fervour at the next Spanish or French elections?

I reckon if people weren’t so full of venom they would be able to enjoy the drama of the Trump fight back.

I'm looking forward more to the psychodrama of watching him slowly lose his grip on his office, no matter how much he wriggles!

    with no sense of irony!

Corrupt people have held the position for the last 4 years.
    It has been a nightmare.

I reckon If people weren't blinded by their love of a racist, homophobic, narcissist psychopath, then they would be able to enjoy the drama of the Trump melt down.

I believe he’s about to be de-platformed. As president Twitter has to keep his account open and he has to go a long way to have his tweets censored, once he’s left office, they’ll shut him down.

Without social media he won’t get the support

Im not blinded by anything and I’m enjoying the theatre of it all. It’s the most interesting election process I’ve ever witnessed and three days on it’s still not over.

Has anyone any thoughts on this Hammer and Scorecard that people are starting to talk about?

Why does the DNC seem so hell bent on trying to stop the vote counts in these key states being observed. Anyone would think they have something to hide. Surely an open and transparent process would be welcomed by both sides?

Actually disagree. Some of the censorship on Twitter actually builds his support because people just see it as another controlling element and the restrictions on the freedom of the American people. Not my opinion, just how it’s perceived over there by some.

Where does it stop on Twitter? Some of the tweets are out and out lies, but the majority of them are no different to what we see from politicians over here. And when it is an opinion tweet rather than a complete lie, why censor that but not do anything about all the death threats and racism on Twitter on an hourly basis?

Some of the censored tweets haven’t been any factual claims they’ve just been opinions. Pre-election the censorship of a New York Times article definitely gained him support, because how is that even allowed?

For some of those who sit in the middle, lean to Republican, or even slightly lean to Democrat, they see the censorship as those in tech still getting paid full time, not caring about lockdown, trying to influence an election to suit their agenda. Whilst they’re battling through all the challenges that Covid brings. It doesn’t help the Dems at all, as the votes appear to have proved in how tight it has been.

A little bit like Hollywood coming out in support of Clinton last time and that being a complete turn off for the average American.

    Read beyond the headlines.

the tweet you quoted wasn’t untrue, but your assumption of what it meant (you’ll not be alone) is a million miles from the facts.

Fair enough. But didn't you think it would be worth following up on a two day old tweet to check the latest position, or for a more detailed report?

My guess is you're either taking the pi$$ with your posts...in which case fine, I'll just keep quoting lizards and we can have a laugh at it all. Or you're genuinely not, in which case I'm trying to suggest you do a bit more research on things

I appreciate that the censoring of his tweets currently actually builds his popularity. But when he’s no longer president he may well get a Twitter ban (if his behaviour doesn’t change).

Fox News will drop support of him (Murdoch is ruthless when it comes to people being useful to him), and it’s already starting. And the Republican Party will distance themselves (already starting).

He will become a lunatic shouting into the abyss.
