Ah well, pretty sure you are suggesting letting 1000's of people die needlessly. Sounds pretty ******* disgusting to me.

The wars started now are a direct result of his actions. Just because it took a bit more time to kick off doesn't mean they weren't his fault. Are people really this stupid?

Same with the economy. He inherited a very strong economy from Obama, destroyed it, then Biden is left to pick up the pieces and he gets the blame for the awful economy trump left him and trump gets the praise from obamas?

I guess all wars should just end in instant surrender to the aggressor then.

I don’t think it’s accurate to directly blame the Russian invasion of Ukraine on Trump. This conflict has deep roots that stretch back decades, and a timeline starting in 1991 would show that it has been building independently of any one U.S. presidency. While Trump’s actions may not have improved the situation, it’s fair to suggest that this crisis could have unfolded even without him in office.

Similarly, while I have less detailed knowledge on the Israel-Palestine issue, I feel a similar conclusion applies. My main insight comes from something my grandfather once said. He served in the army and was stationed in the region at some point, though I don’t know exactly when. I recall him saying that there would never be peace in the area as long as both sides continued to exist. He passed away in 1999, and it seems that, unfortunately, his prediction still holds true.

In reality, a fair assessment of Trump’s impact on both conflicts might be that he’s simply another foreign politician who failed to improve the situation. To say he’s “directly responsible” is far too simplistic. He certainly didn’t help, but the situation is much more nuanced than that

I don't think either Biden or Trump are responsible for Israel/Palestine kicking off. I think USA policy as regards Israel is going to be substantially similar regardless of who is in charge at least for the foreseeable future and the spark that kicked off this latest round was a terrorist attack which would have happened with either leader.

    Lammy’s an absolute disgrace.

Gone from having genuine political beliefs & wanting to make a positive difference to Kier Starmer’s arse licker so he could be the token black guy in his cabinet.

Said nothing about racism exposed in the forde report & labour leaks against black & Muslim Labour MP’s & then stands posing for photo’s shaking hands with Nethanyanu.

A pathetic excuse of a human being.

I find the whole thread & yes, the result massively depressing. At the end of the day Trump has won & the rest of the world is stuck with it. We can't change anything sadly. I'm more sad as I'm missing the Rotherham match, as I'm DJing Thursday, Friday & Saturday this week. Feel free to thrash it out on the thread, but in my opinion you are wasting your time.

Maybe build a nuclear bunker in your garden, or find religion?

That's a bit like saying that asbestos is safe because nobody working with it in 1999 died of it in 1999. They've all died afterwards because of it
