I think fury will win this one myself although I like usyk… he’s [emoji6][emoji[emoji6][emoji6]] pounds heavier than usyk this fight so I think it will resemble something similar to the second wilder fight. Anyone know what time the walkout is at?
They do....and they don't, they can fight who they like until the Governing body nominates a Challenger and a deadline for that fight to take place....they must take that match or be stripped of the title of whichever version of a Championship they hold.
You can’t honestly believe that can you? I mean there’s bad takes & there’s ’he didn’t take it seriously’. It was the biggest fight of his life. It’s like claiming a footballer didn’t take the World Cup final seriously.
I agree. I think a KO is Fury’s best option. Usyk’s just so difficult to hit clean & because he’s got a good chin to go with it you need to nail him repeatedly to put a dent in him. The problem there is when you up the work rate against a much smaller & fitter man if you don’t take him out then you pay for it. We’ve seen it with all of Joshua, Dubois & Fury, they have a couple of big rounds where they look for a finish & then they’re gassed afterwards.
At twenty stone I’m not sure what Fury’s conditioning is like. Interesting that he’s so heavy whilst Usyk has gone in lighter. I don’t buy into that Fury didn’t take the first fight seriously. I think he thought he was better than Usyk, underestimated him, and got found out. That said, I rarely go against the bookies on boxing and they have Usyk as warm favourite but I’ve got an inkling Fury takes this one.
He didn't. He kept pulling faces and putting his hands by his side. He was nowhere near as focused as he usually is or will be tonight.
That's his style. He’s done that all his career. Did it in the Klitschko & Wilder fights. It doesn’t mean he’s not taking it seriously.
Which only works as a sanction for the champion. Moreover the governing body takes a cut from the fights so if a more lucrative fight is on the cards they can usually be persuaded to forego sporting integrity (such as it is in boxing) out of the window and follow the money.
I probably want Usyk to win just so there's no third fight. I'm getting fed up of the same boxers fighting each other all the time.
I really like Usyk as a person but weight advantage and Fury skills to adapt will lead to a stoppage around 7/8 round
Fury doesn't have a chance via decision, he would have to knock him out, I'd give home about a 20% chance, hopefully it's a good fight
He does that to take time out. You’re mad if you believe Fury’s acting. He had a tricky camp last time with his cut if we are to believe what we’ve been told but it doesn’t mean he wasn’t 100% serious. This time there are zero excuses. It’s going to be a belter either way.
Good look to both fighters, massive respect to em both, cant wait, alarm set an looking forward to hopefully a great bout.
Bet 365 evens super boost is 1 or more knockdowns. I don't see it not happening. One of them at some point should be tasting the canvas. It's surely not going to points again.
Completely agree. He won 5 rounds in a row clearly with a knockdown. It should have been impossible for Fisher to win. It’s killed my enthusiasm for the rest of the night. That should have been a career best win for Allen that guaranteed him another big payday & fight
