    My 87 year old M-in-L was called by her surgery this morning asking her to stand by for her first vaccination with a fortnight. She has accepted the invitation.

    I'm in Tier 5, but hopefully soon we can all move from Tier 3 to Tier 2, then eventually back to the Upper Tier next season.

    I don't know. You will know better than me. I suppose even though we approved it first they could start getting it to people first. The one thing Trump did well at was react quickly with getting money in to vaccine companies to get them available as quickly as he could when they got approved. He's still done as little for USA as the overated Obama did though.

    Im in at #8 so wont be until well into next year - hopefully if there are problems they will be known long before it gets to us
    Though there are 3 different vaccines coming and I expect the govt will want to switch us all to the oxford one as soon as possible as its the cheapest

    Before you get too excited. theres only 800K of doses in this batch and it is limited to where it can be stored.

    Barnsley isnt one of the hospitals chosen.

    They’re on track to get 20 million vaccines completed in December should everything go to plan over the next few days.

    The one thing that even the moderate Democrats are giving Trump credit for is how he’s pushed and pushed to make this happen.

    But I'm sorry, this is so wrong. I've been called a murderer this year. A cultist who doesn't care for human life. Not once or twice, but regularly, and worse. And I've had enough. And yes, I've lashed out at people. I don't care any more for pandering to right wing extremism. I don't care any more for people's feelings while they pedal an ideology that is hurting millions and millions of people. You want to pedal fascism, I'll call you a nazi. This isn't a discussion about football. This is people dying. This is people losing their jobs, their livelihoods, their lives. And I'm not going to be polite while that is celebrated because the narcissism within cannot understand the position they are in. And if you want to defend that then you're the enemy just as much as the people who pedal it. This isn't a game. And yes, this is happening to everyone, and it's everyone who I stand up for. Not those who only care about themselves. I'll probably get banned eventually, but I'll get banned for the right reasons, because fk*c selfishness, fk*c looking after yourself, look after everyone, and if you don't I'll call you out.

    I don't need help Tekkytyke, that you claim so, with your views, actually makes me feel better.

    Mate, chill out. It’s a football forum with a load of people behind keyboards. It’s a load of ********. Don’t get so wound up by stuff. Just turn off your computer, lock your phone. Taskmaster is on now on Channel 4, stick that on, it’s pretty funny. There was a great program about puppies earlier on the BBC too which really chilled me out.
    I hope this doesn’t come across as patronising, it isn’t meant to be.

    Totally agree Jamie, but people need to tell him that being abusive on here is bang out of order or he'll just keep doing it. This is a local footy message board, its not a big platform like the BBC or Sky News. Ranting about it and abusing people on here isn't going to make any difference. All it's going to do is upset people.

    There's quite a few people on here who have either had covid and still struggling or have lost loved ones to it and hes going around saying all this stuff about civil wars and nazis. Sorry but it's not acceptable and admin should step in and warn him.
