Hi Helen - good to see you back posting. It’s a **** analogy but I couldn’t resist making it Like you, I want to stay in the Championship however I disagree on what our one chance of doing so is. Unfortunately - I believe the current incumbent has the only chance of doing so whether we like it or not. I’ve been underwhelmed by him thus far but hopefully he can start by pulling some rabbits out the hat and tonights first half is a good start. I don’t believe Val could or would come back but even if he did turn up at Oakwell tomorrow I think too much has changed for him to have any immediate impact on the team.
Cracking analogy. Did you cream your pants when your best mate offered you £2million and snap his hand off to allow him to do it? In fact when the money offer came in did you actively encourage him to have a go on your Mrs to make sure you got the moolah? Did you replace your lovely wife with a blow up doll with a puncture imported from Austria? Then when that had to go in the bin, a soulless wardrobe from IKEA? Did you mitigate the loss of your loyal dog by getting a baby gerbil and wonder why it’s less effective at fetching sticks and walking on a lead? Did you send your giant screen American tv back to radio rentals and buy a broken transistor radio from Belgium? There is less than zero chance of getting Val back here. Of course. But all this loyalty ******** is just that - ********. If he’d gone into a room and told them he didn’t fancy going to West Brom, what will you offer me to say, they’d have done anything they could to make sure he left and they got the cash.
Big Val and Adam Murrey sacked at West Brom. Grass isn't much greener for most ex managers but the money pit is
