    Actually....

I do like him...he's an honest player but sadly he will never be good enough to be an important part of a promotion winning squad

    RE: Actually....

He is an option though - when the game is becoming too physical for Hayes and Nardiello. Big Bazza will have a role to play this season - FACT!!

But then...he's miles behind play cos he's got NO PACE

and thus he leaves his strike partner woefully exposed..then the move breaks down

I saw it time and time again last season.

I'm not asking for every move to be pretty...playing to our strengths would be nice.

As for Conlon...forrad NO, centre half...Yes

    Promotion Push ?

So you single Barry Conlan out, and maybe afew others (who i will agree on 100%)

Promotion Push? The squad isnt good enough to make a firm promotion push.

He won't cos he's not bloody physical

he's big. That don;t mean he uses his size...he gets pushed off the ball by players half his size!!

Fairly good when I've seen him tackle...

But he would be a centre half with a good touch and decent distribution..certainly no worse than Carbon or Vaughan and I dare say better

Not many big target players, have that blessing of lighting pace, to come hold the ball up, start a good move off and then stride past the opposition to finish the move off.

    What the f*ck you expecting?

Having the awareness to move forward after playing the ball

something that he usually fails to do...
