Back to netball for you I'm afraid. This game is obviously too much for you to understand.

    Yes, I played wing attack

Which for some reason makes me think the manager who bought the players, trained the players, designed the tactics and picked the team had something to do with why that team won promotion.

    I must be mad.

Your last sentence is probably the closest to the truth you've ever been.

RE: You thought a 1-0 victory at home showed more tactical awareness than winning a promotion?

The team on Saturday was picked with an objective in mind and that objective was achieved! Promotion was achieved last season without the need of any tactical awareness or need to change a formation or style of play. Ritchies inability to change tactics for specific games or even during a game, this season, is why we are where we are and why he is where he is! Two extra players in the squad allowed substitutions to be made which actually made a difference which resulted in a win!

To think we got promoted by just picking a team...

and letting the players get on with it is bordering on the insane.

Did you go to Oldham last season?

I believe we won 3 nil and we changed tactics during the game.

Did the players do that on their own though?

No you're wrong. Ritchie was crap, we only got promoted

because the other teams were worse. That day in Cardiff, we were lucky, penalties are just a lottery. We would have won that league with 150 points with a tactically aware, asture manager who wasn't afraid to splash out on a few new players.

Well if it worked that once, why didn't it happen more often?

No i didnt go to Oldham! I did not say that there were no tactics! I just said that the tactics that Ritchie employed were never changed either before or during a game, his substitutions were like for like and predictable! Unfortunately I did miss the one game out of nearly 50 where you say he changed things last season and I have not seen any evidence of it this season!
