As you say magnificent. Took more pride in that result than for many a year. Went hoping we wouldn't be embarrassed given all the hype about Fulham. Scenes at the end as good as we could have wished. BUZZING.
Everyone gave 100%, everyone had a good game (some had great games), and Fulham looked more than a bit uncomfortable with the way we pressed them. They have some pricey individual players. We had a fully prepared and committed team. Absolute pleasure to be there today.
Talking to a couple of Fulham fans after the match in the chippy who said we thoroughly deserved it. I said I think you're right lads enjoy your fish bits.

Bambo Diaby and Mads Andersen, were as good as Lindsey and Pinnock if not better. Very pleased with Wilks Fulham used up 2 subs to cope with him.
I thought that was the best performance at home for years. Very bloody impressive and a delight to witness. It really should have been 3 or 4. Fulham clearly were not up for the fight and were out worked and out fought all afternoon. Suspect they were thinking they were Billy Big boll.ocks and were in for an easy ride against a promoted team. How wrong they were.
Just watched the highlights on the Sky programme " Goals Express." Really impressive. Served to outline our overall dominance. Still puzzled how Mike Bahre managed to put what looked like a relatively easy chance wide of their goal. In truth, it wouldn't have been a travesty if we would have beaten them 3-0, we were that superior. Can only praise young Thomas for his composure for the goal. Looked very much as though his original intention was to pass, but he kept his cool and slotted home. Well done Luke. Him, Wilks and Chaplin are quality signings. Hope we give a good account of ourselves at Hillsborough next week and avoid giving them yet another " crabby" goal. Hope Winnall doesn't feature. Not even in their squad for today's game at Reading.
