I want what is best for the club, & want us to have ambitions of playing at the highest level possible. We are currently at the highest level possible & it’s going to take a lot of work & a consistent approach to raise the bar higher, & that means at the minute we need to accept consolidation, the sooner folk accept it & hold the right people to account of why this is now reality the better.

 

He probably deserves the accolade of Biggest Moaner on here and I had him on ignore a while ago but took that off recently. It’s time to go back in the bin I think.

Nope.
It's difficult to see how we can totally fail to add a striker this window but not impossible. Some of the ones we're reportedly looking at don't seem like any actual improvement on what we've got.
There are some, like this guy though who will take everything out of context, ignore all logic and facts to put the worst spin imaginable on absolutely everything.

Shows how hard it must be and how club is dealing with so many variables - he must've been up there as a target, worked hard to pull it off and find last minute it can just be pulled and back to square one. Get it's frustrating but there's lots of conclusions being jumped to here as ever.

But it’s all the more frustrating because of our approach to the window, & failing to bring any attacking players in. It’s all a last minute scramble & we could end up with nobody.

You'll find at least 100 deals done in the last couple of days maybe more.Its not panic deals its waiting for the cards to drop.It happens at every club even the Premiership.Signing other players isn't always a last minute job,weeks and months go into preparation to get deals done.
