Joking aside this puts the club in a difficult position. The club seems to have worked on this for a while which is pretty normal and others will have been in the mix too. But the club must have relaxed on some options as this one was expected to complete today. The fees and availability in the market will now be an issue and Plan B, C or D will need stepping up.
