Which one was David Ball? The one without a number on his back or the other one without a number on his back?

Ball showed his tenacity and scored a quality goal... wigan and other teams rumoured to be interested. Has good pedegree!

We still need a big lump though to win the physical battles. Would love to see Waring return. Surprised LJ didnt bring Jabo back to the well. I can only assume he has targets lined up.

Realised my mistake later on :( Probably need to take more notice of other teams but my football interest begins and ends with us.

He certainly took his goal exceptionally well and showed one or two nice touches. Certainly I don't think he did his chances of earning a contract any harm.
However, I wouldn't judge any of the players on show in such a game, whether impressive or disappointing. For example, last Summer I seem to remember quite a number of folk on here writing off the capabilities of Adam Davies after a couple of mistakes in friendly matches. In certain cases it went beyond criticism to mocking him. This of a young lad who hadn't even made his league debut at that time. However, young Adam proved his critics wrong and shut them up by having an impressive season.

I liked him. Showed a good touch, plenty of intent with a bit of pace & a decent size for a quick lad. I'd like him to sign based on that.

No number, played up front, scored the delightful lob.

Reminded me a little bit of Will Hoskins, who we had on trial. Technically he looked very sharp. Question mark will be over his ability to compete physically - difficult to tell from what we saw yesterday.

    Totally.

I remember a certain friendly against that french team. Where mvoto towered above everyone. We all sat their saying this is what we need.

Look how that turned out :)

Although to be fair he was useful in certain games.
