Could do with a stronger top five if they want to win the tournament :D That spin attack should be strangling teams with a dozen overs between two world class spinners Rashid and Khan and Bess too.

You'd like to think that with 3 front-line plus 3 part-time spinners in the line-up the groundsman at Headingley has produced the correct kind of wicket, particularly when you have 3 of the best players of spin around in your own line-up!

Bit worried about TKC keeping as that was the start of his injury problems last season.

Strong start. Lovely wicket by Bess. I like the idea of three spinners. Lancs played the same way when they won it a couple of years ago with Parkinson, Lilley and another couple. They had a system that worked of each one bowling one quick over at a time so before you knew it they had gone through half their overs in quick time.

Absolutely cack from Thompson. Jesus get him out of the attack.
Bowling length at 70 odd mph and he's getting smashed all over.

Not good from Root either. I’m surprised it’s on YouTube as well so I will save some money by watching on the telly - YT or Sky

Fielding seems to be verging on the geriatric - straight to Rashid at fine leg and they run 2!

Decent first over from young Revis, putting all these internationals to shame.

No need for the Root over, Bess and Revis were the best bowlers by a country mile and only bowled two each. Good comeback by Thompson too.

Shame the young Yorkies were let down by the internationals. What a poor replacement Rauf looks for Lockie Ferguson.

I reckon they are about 25 more than a team bowling well and sharp in the field would have given them.

bit harsh on their 1st games, both can be match winners, just not their night bowling, hopefully not see either with the bat
looking comfortable but 2 or 3 drop?

I wonder where England see him and what they see him being best at in the current moment.

By this I mean I hope they don't allow him to be the 12th man for the Test team which stops him from playing for the white ball team in Holland.

he needs to start the next 3 test regardless and some more after regardless, us yorkshire folk won't like it but it's for his best for him, if he gets shipped off to amsterdam then it's an insult to country and club
