I left the forum last year of my own volition. I returned when the nation went into lockdown, because I saw it as another avenue to chat with folk, having had lots of my social contact removed by the rules of said lockdown. I've been on various iterations of this forum under a variety of usernames for some two decades. I know a lot of the folk personally, who post on the BBS. I actually count a few of these people as friends. Not once in my years in the job have I ever been asked/told to either start posting or quit posting. And not once have I ever been asked to post something. I'm not sure I'm shooting down negativity either. I very rarely involve myself in such threads/topics. I don't really put my own opinions across on most club-related subjects, because I'm very aware that I'm an insider and therefore my comments can be taken as PR spin. Most of my contributions to the BBS are saved for non-BFC topics. And I like to think I try and help fans out who need it, where possible, in all manner of ways. Asking others not to believe what I'm posting is a bit weird, but I'm sure you'll have your reasons.
